Planning- Phycological Thriller Posters

I have researched into some existing Phycological Thriller Posters to help me to identify the key conventions and features of the posters so when we make our own we will know what to include.

I have identified that the common convention featured within these posters below is that they all include a close up of the main character. Also you can see that they all use very simplistic text which is very effective in conveying the genre. In most of them the title is also commonly found under the face of the main actor. The colour schemes mostly used in this genre are mainly dark colours for examples black, red and grey.

During the making of my poster, I will link back to my research of other phycological thriller posters and use a dark eery colour scheme. I am also going to include large image of our main character with a balaclava on his face which represents the hidden identity theme shown throughout our trailer. I have also decided to use a pop of red in my poster to signify danger, however I will have to do this carefully so it doesn't get mixed up with the horror genre.
